Within “Strengthening Access to Protection, Participation and Services for women Refugees, Internally Displaced People IDPs and women in Host Communities in Iraq” project, funded by the European Union, through the EU Regional Trust Fund in response to the Syrian crisis, the EU ‘Madad’ Fund and implemented by a consortium led by EuroMed Feminist Initiative, #Baghdad_women_association Staff in AL-Alkarada Office implemented a referral pathway meeting for service providers on 16 January, 2020.
The meeting was attended by 19 women and men to operate the networking and referral pathway within all service providers from governmental and non-governmental institutions, the meeting started with welcoming the attendees with a brief about BWA centers and its free services. The trainer created a connection and coordination between all attendees for the purpose of activating the referral pathway in addition to discussing its form.
The important outcomes of the meeting were that all participants express their complete willingness to serve women away from wrong customs and traditions in the event that any of the women needs the services of Baghdad women association for the purpose of assisting vulnerable women.
